New Orleans Hornets Selling More Season Tickets This Year
Due to the great success during last years season and post-season, the New Orleans franchise is selling there season tickets like wildfire. For the first time since the Hornets moved to New Orleans, they have clipped the 10,000 mark of season ticket holders. They are only shy of about 100 season tickets from selling out the lower-bowl of the arena.
The Hornets still has in effect an opt-out clause where the team needs to average 14,735 attendees per game from December 2007 until the end of the upcoming season, or they will have the option of moving out of the state of Louisiana.
I personally hope the Hornets will reach the attendance needed to stay where they are. They have a young, fresh team and the New Orleans crowd has backed them tremendously.
