Allan Houston Might Come Out Of Retirement

Published by techspotlight at 12:10 am under NBA, New York Knicks, Teams Edit This

Allan Houston who retired in 2005 with chronic knee injuries has been training and playing ball all summer.  It is possible that he might be trying to make a comeback with the New York Knicks this coming season.

Houston, now 37 years old has had several injuries throughout his span in the NBA.  His career averages are 44% field goal shooting, 40% three point percentage, 86% free throw percentage, 17.3 points per game, 2.4 assists per game and 2.9 rebounds per game.

The New York Knicks have been struggling badly in recent years and I don’t know if the addition of the aging Houston can help them at all.  Houston a former all-star does have a sweet jumper though, and if he still has the aim, the Knicks could sure use him.
