Kobe Bryant Decides Against Surgery
In a turn of events, Kobe Bryant ultimately decided against having surgery on his right pinkie finger, due to the recovery process could take too long.
Kobe Bryant is quoted as saying by website www.kb24.com:
“When the doctors told me recovery from a procedure could be 12 weeks, I just decided now was not the time to have surgery. What it really came down to for me is that I just didn’t want to miss any time ‘punching the clock’ for the Lakers, given all we are trying to accomplish as a team this NBA season.”
Hopefully Bryant doesn’t do any more damage to his finger in the upcoming season. I’m sure in the back of his mind, he will be thinking about his injury and will guard against any re-injury that could happen.
