Gilbert Arenas Will Not Be Ready For Season Opener
Gilbert Arenas of the Washington Wizards is scheduled to miss all of summer camp and the first two months of regular season this year. Arenas has now undergone two surgeries to repair his left knee that was injured in 2007.
Gilbert signed a six year deal with the Wizards this year for a total of $111 million dollars. Arenas only played in 13 regular season games last year due to his knee injury.
Arenas who is considered one of the premier basketball players in the NBA today is now being paid like one. Earning $18.5 million a year, I sure hope he returns in uniform soon to help the Wizards compete in another playoff run this season.
