Shaq Claims He Will Retire In 2 Years
Shaquille O’Neal “The Diesel” stated that he fully expects to retire after his remaining 2 year contract with the Phoenix Suns. The 7′ 3″ future hall of famer said the below quote to an Orlando Florida news reporter.
“My basketball career will be over in 735 days, and being an educated man, I’ve always had things to fall back on. So one of my options is law enforcement.”
To this date Shaq’s career averages are 58% field goal shooting, 25.2 points per game, 11.5 rebounds per game, 2.4 blocks per game and 2.7 assists per game. Where the dominant big man has always struggled is free throw shooting. His current percentage for that is 52%.
Hopefully Shaq can stay injury free for the rest of his career. It is unlikely that we will see any center as dominant as he was in his prime.
Officer Shaq does have a nice ring to it.
