Jamal Sampson Finds A New Home In Toronto

Jamal Sampson the 6′ 11″, 235 pound forward/center finds a new home with the Toronto Raptors.  The Raptors organization signed the free agent on Monday.  Sampson has spent 5 years in the NBA and played with a different team each year including Denver Nuggets, Sacramento Kings, Charlotte Hornets, Los Angeles Lakers and Milwaukee Bucks.

Jamal’s career averages so far are 49% field goal shooting, 53% free throw shooting, 2.0 points per game, 3.4 rebounds per game, 0.4 blocks per game and 0.4 assists per game.  Even though Sampson has been in the league for 5 years, he has only appeared in a total of 72 games, averaging 8.8 minutes.  Hopefully the California College native will get increased playing time with the Raptors so he can prove he is worthy to be on the court.
