Nuggets And Pacers Trade Players
Jamaal Tinsley the injury ridden guard of the Indian Pacers was traded to the Denver Nuggets for Chuckie Atkins and Stephen Hunter. The deal will go through as long as Tinsley passes a physical. Jamaal has been chronically injured over the past 4 years with only playing at most 42 games a season.
The Denver Nuggets franchise assume the $21 million, 3 year debt of Tinsley. Atkins is due approximately $7 million while Hunter is guaranteed about $7.5 million. Less than half of the players total salary remaining is guaranteed.
Tinsley has been rehabilitating and working hard over the summer, and it has been reported that he is in great shape. In any event, I see know major change for the Denver Nuggets this year. They lost Camby and haven’t really gained any impressive talent, to help them in their defensive struggles.
