Wizards Decline: Now Haywood Might Need Surgery

Published by techspotlight at 12:10 am under NBA, Teams, Washington Wizards Edit This

The Washington Wizards basketball team is really in a pickle.  Just yesterday I reported on the Antawn Jamison knee injury and now Brendan Haywood might need surgery on his right wrist.  His injury was originally thought to be a sprain, but he has continually suffered from pain and discomfort in his wrist.  Apparently he was advised by a specialist to undergo a surgical procedure on his hand which would force him to miss 4-6 months.  Haywood is in the process of another examination where he will then decide to have surgery or not.

The Wizards had an impressive year last season without their star player Gilbert Arenas for the majority of the year.  Now the Wizards are unsure of 3 key starting players on their roster.  This could ultimately turn out to be an undesirable season for the talented ball club.

That’s ashame. The Wizards have shown that they got some excellent talent, now with all these injuries they will probably be on the bottom of the Eastern Conference this year.
