Monta Ellis Lies And Gets A 30 Game Suspension

Published by techspotlight at 12:10 am under Golden State Warriors, NBA, Teams Edit This

The Golden State Warriors 22 year old Monta Ellis lied about getting into a low speed moped accident, and stated he got injured playing a pickup basketball game in Mississippi instead.  The team’s president Robert Rowell suspended him for 30 games which will end up costing Ellis approximately $3 million dollars.

Monta Ellis has proven to be an excellent scoring talent in the NBA and has career averages of 49% field goal shooting, 28% three point shooting, 76% free throw shooting, 15.7 points per game, 3.4 assists per game and 1.4 steals per game.

The 177 pound, 6′ 3″ guard, Ellis will now have to suffer the consequences of his actions, at the detriment of the team itself.  Monta has proven to be an excellent scoring machine and this will likely cost the Warriors team some losses in the early part of the season.
