Magic Johnson Joins ESPN Crew And Not TNT
Magic Johnson has had several guest appearances on TNT’s Emmy award winning basketball show, “Inside The NBA” that usually airs after televised games on the channel. The TNT hosts include Ernie Johnson, Kenny “The Jet” Smith and Charles Barkley. When Magic appeared on the show, it was quite entertaining having him and Chuck go back and forth on many issues.
Magic’s new role on ESPN is a NBA Studio Analyst alongside Stuart Scott, Mike Wilbon and Jon Barry. Magic is scheduled to provide analysis on Christmas when ESPN and ABC combine to showcase a 3 game back-to-back coverage feast.
Congratulations to Magic Johnson on his new endeavor, although I would of liked to see him as a regular commentator on TNT.
