Sebastian Telfair Pleads Guilty To Criminal Charges
On Tuesday, Sebastian Telfair of the Minnesota Timberwolves was suspended for 3 games after pleading guilty to criminal possession of a weapon, where he was sentenced to 3 years of probation last month. Sebastian was originally arrested in April of 2007 when police found him carrying a loaded gun that was in his car.
Telfair had an incident free season with the Timberwolves last year and has career averages of 39% field goal shooting, 30% three point shooting, 77% free throw shooting, 7.8 points per game, 3.8 assists per game and 1.7 rebounds per game.
The 6 foot guard really didn’t penalized that much by the league, basically a slap on the wrist. Telfair needs to stay out of trouble while on probation or he could face stiffer penalties.
