Steve Nash Sprains Ankle

Published by techspotlight at 12:10 am under NBA, Phoenix Suns, Teams Edit This

The Phoenix Suns old, ailing team is all banged up with injuries to key players on their roster.  Amare Stoudemire has a torn iris in his right eye and now Steve Nash has a sprained ankle.

Nash was injured late in a pre-season game against the Atlanta Hawks, where he grimaced and limped off the court, not to return to the game.  The seriousness of the injury is still unknown.  We should here early next week how bad the sprain is and if he will miss the start of the new season that begins the end of this month.

The Suns have a tall task ahead of them.  With the New Orleans Hornets proving to be an excellent team and the powerful Los Angeles Lakers with tons of talent, I’m weary of the Suns putting up a fight for a chance at a division title.  Let’s not forget the San Antonio Spurs and the young and fresh Portland Trailblazers all in the hunt also.  It shall be an interesting year in the Western Conference.  I can’t wait to see how it all turns out.
