The feisty and determined young guard of the Utah Jazz sprained his ankle on Saturday when he pulled up for a three pointer midway through the second period.  He made contact with Chicago Bulls guard Derrick Rose when elevating for the shot and fell to the floor.  Williams was carried off the court by two teammates as he grimaced in pain.  He then left the floor for the locker room on a wheelchair.  Deron then proceeded to have X-Rays taken in the locker room, and they came back negative.

After the game was completed, Williams left the arena on crutches and wearing a protective boot.  This is not a good sign for the Jazz team.  Deron is an excellent point guard and the team does not gel without him in the lineup.
