Larry Hughes Likely To Be Out Until December

Published by techspotlight at 12:10 am under Chicago Bulls, NBA, Teams Edit This

On Wednesday night the Chicago Bulls guard Larry Hughes dislocated his right shoulder in a pre-season game against the Minnesota Timberwolves.  Hughes is scheduled to have more tests done on his shoulder, hopefully in an attempt to avoid surgery.  Still though he is expected to miss anywhere from 6 to 8 weeks which will ultimately put his basketball game off until the beginning to mid December.

Hughes was traded last year from the Cleveland Cavaliers in the monumental multi-player deal that happened around All Star break last season.  Larry has career averages of 40% field goal shooting, 29% three point shooting, 75% free throw shooting, 14.9 points per game, 3.3 assists per game, 1.5 steals per game and 4.4 rebounds per game.  This is not a good sign to the struggling Chicago Bulls team.

This could be a good thing for the Bulls. Rose’ll get more minutes, and they need him to be a legit ballhandler if they’re going to do anything this year.
