Portland Succumbs To Phoenix’s Shooting In 2nd Half

After a slow start in the first few minutes of Saturday nights game, the Portland Trail Blazers rallied throughout the first and second quarters to have a one point lead heading into the locker room in the first half.  The complete second half was dominated by the Suns shooting and the slams of Amare Stoudemire, to capture the victory with a final score of 107-96.

The Suns capture their first home win of the season at the U.S. Airways Center in Phoenix, Arizona, in front of 18,422 attendees in the stadium.  The Suns ended up with a dominant 42 points in the paint while taking care of the ball, having only 11 turnovers throughout the game.  They also had a fabulous shooting display with a 55% team field goal percentage.
