Basketball Daily

Back in the mid-80’s a rapper by the name of Kurtis Blow sang a song called “Basketball.”  It was basically his way of paying tribute to a sport he loved.  This is probably one of the most famous songs about any sport and still thrives today.  The song got has high as #71 on the billboard charts in 1984.

Famous professional basketball stars have given rap a try such as Shaq and AI but have failed to succeed.  Never the less this song will go down in history as one of the all-time greatest homages given to basketball.  Basketball is still widely played over the air waves and has been in many movies over a 20 year period.
