Dallas Defeats The Injury Ridden Houston Team
The Dallas Mavericks come away with a victory against the Houston Rockets although they almost blew it down the stretch. The Mavericks were ahead the whole game with a lead of 7-12 points except for the last 6 minutes of the game, the Rockets tried to pour it on but couldn’t overcome the deficit.
The Rockets are in for a tough road ahead of themselves with injuries to Yao Ming, Tracy McGrady, Ron Artest and Shane Battier who has still not played a game this season.
Leading the pack for the Mavericks was Jason Terry who had 31 points off the bench and close behind him was Dirk Nowitzki with 24 points. There were no other Mavericks in double figures. Dallas takes the road victory with them in a final score of 96 to 86.
