Celtics Devour The Pistons Winning By 18 Points
The Boston Celtics lockdown defense put a strangle hold on the Detroit Pistons and carried them to an easy victory with a score of 98 to 80. The Celtics advance there record to 11-2 this season. It was such a blowout in the beginning stages of the fourth quarter, all of the starters for both teams hit the bench and let the subs finish out the game.
Boston had 5 players with double digits and leading the pack was Rajon Rondo with 18 points who consistently drove past Allen Iverson and really showed AI’s defensive inabilities. Detroit’s defense has really taken a hit this year with the loss of Chauncey Billups and Antonio McDyess. It even seems like the whole teams philosophy has changed since the new recruitments. For the Pistons to get back to the final Eastern Conference showdown, they really have to put some thought in their tactics. It will be no easy feat to beat the Celtics or the Cavaliers this year.
