Houston Wins The First On A 3 Game Road Trip
A see saw battle developed between the Rockets and the Wizards, but Houston down the stretch drained many three pointers to take a victory away from the struggling Washington team which now has a record of 1 win and 9 losses. The final score ended at 103 to 91.
The production of points came from many players with the tally at the end of the game being Tracy McGrady with 20, Carl Landry with 19, Yao Ming with 18, Aaron Brooks with 18, Ron Artest with 14, Luis Scola with 7, Rafer Alston with 5 and Chuck Hayes with 2 points.
During most of the game, Houston looked befuddled as Washington was having their way scoring from all different angles, but late in the fourth quarter T’Mac took over the game with sharpshooter like precision. Once the Rockets get completely healthy, they have a great chance to make a strong run in the Playoffs this year.
