L.A. Stops Mavericks 5 Win Streak On Black Friday

The Los Angeles Lakers and Dallas Mavericks were both at a 5 win streak coming into the late night game on Black Friday.  One team would increase their streak and one would have it stopped.  The home team Lakers had all the poise and will power to carry them to a win with a final score of 114-107.  The Lakers remain the only team with only one loss and move to a impressive record on the year of 13 wins and 1 loss.

Kobe Bryant led the team in scoring with 35 points and behind him was Derek Fisher with 19 points and Andrew Bynum with 18 points.  All the starters ended up in double figures except for Vladimir Radmanovic who only had 3 points on a tough shooting night.  The high man off the bench was Trevor Ariza who sparked the second unit with passion and excitement, and finished the night with 15 points.  With the two dominant big men in the center for the Lakers has proven to be a tough task for all opponents.  Barring injuries, I expect the Lakers to be at the top at the end of the season.
