An Amazing Comeback For Dallas In The Fourth

Tuesday’s night game against the visiting Los Angeles Clippers and the Dallas Mavericks was a total domination by the L.A. team with new recruit Zach Randolph.  The Clippers led the whole game, most of the time by double digits until 50 seconds left in the fourth quarter, when Jose Barea sunk a 3 point shot to take the struggling Mavericks team to a victory of 100-98.

The high man for Dallas was former MVP Dirk Nowitzki with 29 points.  He was the only starter in double figures for the team.  Off the bench, as usual, Jason Terry dropped in 26 points, the little 6 foot guy, Barea had 15 points and Brandon Bass finished with 14 points.

During the whole game the Mavericks looked lethargic up until the half way point in the 4th, when they really turned up the heat and held the L.A. team to only 17 points.  This was a great comeback for Dallas and a much needed win against their rivals who blew them out of the water in the Playoffs when the Mavericks were the #1 seed and the Clippers were the #8 seed.
