Celtics Spank Blazers After A 21-0 Run

Up until about the 4 minute mark of the second quarter the game between the Celtics and Blazers was competitive.  It was then when Boston went on a 14 to 0 run to end the half.  Upon coming out of locker room the Celtics started dominating once again immediately scoring the first 7 points, making a run of 21-0 to much to overcome for the Portland team.  The final score was 93-78 with most of the fourth quarter being played by bench players.

All five of the Celtics starters scored in double figures with a total of 74 points between them.  Off the bench Leon Powe had 14 points, Eddie House had 3 points and Patrick O’Bryant had 2 points to round out the scoreboard.  The Celtics have the best record in the NBA with 19 wins and only 2 losses.  They move to their 11th consecutive win.  It looks like Boston is headed for another impressive year, and trying to get back to the Championships for a back-to-back Title defense.
