Boston Pulverizes Washington

The World Champions last season and the current team with the best record, the Boston Celtics absolutely pulverized the home town Washington Wizards 122-88.  The Celtics keep looking better and better as the season rolls along and the Wizards didn’t have a prayer.  The game was actually quite boring with Boston dominating throughout.

All 5 of the Boston starters finished in double figures with Paul “The Truth” Pierce and Ray Allen leading the way with 22 points each.  Kendrick Perkins had 12 points, and Kevin Garnett and Rajon Rondo each with 11 points.  Eddie House contributed 14 points off the bench.  As a whole the team shot 55% and 53% from beyond the arc.  It’s going to be tough to stop the Celtics from repeating this year, but the Cavaliers and Lakers might have something to say about that.
