Dwight Howard And Crew Run Over The Lakers
On Friday night the Orlando Magic were in California, competing against the Los Angeles Lakers at the Staples Center. This game was a fantastic testament of the will of the Magic team this year. They have surprised many critics by playing stifling defense and shooting the ball extremely well. The game was very entertaining to watch especially all the big men like Dwight Howard, Pau Gasol and Andrew Bynum. These big trees in the middle all played very well the entire game. It was the Magic though who came away with the win with a final score of 109-103.
The top scorers for Orlando was Jameer Nelson with 28 points, Dwight Howard with 25 points and Rashard Lewis with 16 points. The high man coming off the bench was Tony Battie with 8 points. This win here should really pump up the whole Magic squad as they are one of the Top 5 elite teams in the NBA, and have a legitimate shot at a Finals run.
