Detroit Snaps Losing Streak At FedEx Forum

Two struggling teams faced off against each other recently, the Detroit Pistons and the Memphis Grizzlies.  Both teams came into the game with a +5 losing streak.  The game was fairly close throughout the afternoon, but it was the Detroit Pistons who would prevail with a final score of 87-79.

Leading the starters for the Pistons was Allen Iverson with 27 points on 11 for 18 shooting.  Richard Hamilton and Rodney Stuckey both contributed with 14 points each.  Antonio McDyess was the high man off the bench with 8 points.

Detroit is now in fourth place in the Eastern Conference and is no longer considered a major threat, as 3 other teams seem to have much more talent and cohesiveness.  It’s up to the teammates to come together and start playing at the top of their game to get back to that elite status they have had for so many years.
