Allstar Starters Have Been Announced
The Allstar starters for the 2009 game were announced on TNT’s Thursday night show called “NBA Tip-Off.” The Allstar game will be played on Sunday, February 15th. There were very little surprises here, just the cream of the crop of the best NBA professional basketball players in the game today. The main upset was Tracy McGrady who had a lead over Chris Paul the last few days before balloting was over, but CP3 pulled ahead of him as a starter, and it is well deserved, as Paul is probably the best point guard in the game today. Dwight Howard was the leading vote getter with over 3 million votes cast for him, which is the most votes ever achieved for a single player in history for an Allstar game.

I just don’t understand how Yao and Duncan can be here. The East starting five look really good. Of course, it is just an exhibition, but they are still competitors.
