Pistons Can’t Overcome Rockets 39 Point 1st Quarter

The Houston Rockets started off in a screaming fashion against the Detroit Pistons scoring 39 points in the first quarter.  All off the players were burning hot especially Luis Scola and Ron Artest.  This forced the Pistons to play from behind the whole game, and even though they made a strong comeback down the stretch, they just couldn’t get over the hump.  The final score was 108-105.

Ron Artest made an impressive comeback after missing many games due to injury, and he led the way for the Rockets with 24 points.  Luis Scola had 21 points on 9 for 11 field goal shooting.  Shane Battier contributed 14 points shooting 4 for 5 from beyond the arc.  The Houston Rockets now improve their record to 28 wins and 17 losses.
