Boston Rides A Wave And Never Trailed

The Boston Celtics met up against the Detroit Pistons and never trailed the entire game.  It was a very physical match the whole way through.  In the fourth quarter Kendrick Perkins picked up a Flagrant 2 technical which sent him into the locker room, but this didn’t frustrate the champs as they continued their domination and picked up the victory extending their current winning streak to +10.  The final score was 86-78.

Kevin “Big Ticket” Garnett was at his peak performance with 22 points, 9 rebounds and 2 blocked shots.  Paul Pierce had 20 points and Ray Allen had 14 points.  Tony Allen was high man off the bench with 6 points.  The Celtics are having another impressive year starting at 27-2, then 2-7 and now 10-0 to give them an overall record of 39-9.
