Duncan-Less Spurs Get Hammered
On Friday night, the Cleveland Cavaliers visited the San Antonio Spurs in which Tim Duncan was sidelined along with Manu Ginobili who has been missing in action for over a week now. Without those two key pieces the Cavaliers hammered the Spurs and had there way with them, winning with ease in a game where the whole fourth quarter was garbage time, and ended with the final score being 97-86.
The top 2 scorers for Cleveland were Lebron James with 30 points and Delonte West with 17 points. Big Z contributed 10 points and so did Daniel “Boobie” Gibson off the bench. Now that Ben Wallace will be out for 4 to 6 weeks due to breaking his leg in the prior game, the team will have to pick up their defensive stance until his return. They should have no problem doing that with the excellent roster they currently have.
