Two In A Row For The Pistons Without Iverson

On Sunday the Detroit Pistons headed into the champ’s house of the Boston Celtics and avoided a season sweep by playing intense defense and all around great ball.  Glen “Big Baby” Davis played very well in place of Kevin Garnett but it was not enough as the Iverson-less Pistons showed why they were the 6 time Eastern Conference finalists, by taking the victory with the final score being 105-95.

All 5 starters for the Pistons were in double figures with Richard “Rip” Hamilton leading the way with 25 points on 6 for 12 field goal shooting.  Off the bench Walter Hermann showed his talent level by scoring 11 points on 4 for 5 shooting in only 16 minutes of game time.  Rasheed Wallace picked up another technical during this game which brings his total to 15 on the season.  One more and he will have to sit out the following game due to the new rules stating, if a player receives 16 on the year they will be forced to miss the next regular season game.
