Bulls Mount An Incredible Comeback In The Fourth

The Houston Rockets met up with the Chicago Bulls in which the Rockets completely dominated the game up until the fourth quarter.  Houston had the game in their hands playing great defense and scoring at will, but when the fourth quarter kept dwindling in time, the Rockets could not score and moreover couldn’t stop the Bulls.  This was an incredible comeback and exciting game for the Bulls outscoring their opponents by 20 points in the last quarter.  The final score ended at 105-102.

The top 3 leading scorers for the Bulls were Derrick Rose with 22 points, Tyrus Thomas with 19 points and Ben Gordon with 16 points.  The high man off the bench was John Salmons with 12 points.  Chicago needs to put a good string of wins together if they want to make the Playoffs this year, at least they managed to pull out a win here improving their season long record to 27 wins and 33 losses.

Artest And Battier Keep Lebron In Check

On Thursday’s basketball game between the visiting Cleveland Cavaliers and Houston Rockets, Ron Artest and Shane Battier played excellent defense on Lebron James, keeping him at bay and forcing the Cavaliers into a horrible shooting night.  The Rockets team work is starting to gel now and they won their 6th straight game without their superstar Tracy McGrady.  The final score was 93-74.

The leading scorer for the Rockets was Yao Ming with 28 points on an incredible 13 for 15 field goal shooting extravanganza.  Ron Artest had 15 points and Luis Scola had 14 points.  Von Wafer was high man off the bench with 19 points and shot the ball well from downtown.  Houston improves their record to 37 wins and 21 losses on the season.

Aaron Brooks Shows Mad Skills Now At Starting PG

The Dallas Mavericks faced off against the McGrady-less Houston Rockets on Friday night.  Tracy supposedly will miss the remainder of the season due to his knee.  This is really a big blow to the Houston team who had high hopes coming into the season with the pickup of Ron Artest.

A few days back Rafer Austin was sent to the Orlando Magic and the young Aaron Brooks picked up the starting role at the PG position.  He really showcased his talents in this game scoring 19 points with 8 assists, and knocking down two crucial 3’s in the final minutes of the game that propelled the Rockets to victory with the final score ending at 93-86.

The top three scorers for the Rockets were Yao Ming with 22 points, Aaron Brooks with 19 points and Ron Artest with 17 points.  It is unknown how well the Rockets will fair without McGrady and Austin.  Either way they looked very good in this game and improved their record this season to 34 wins and 21 losses.
