Despite the Miami Heat losing their first meeting with the Los Angeles Clippers, they turned the tide around and literally crushed L.A. by beating them by more than 20 points on this go around. The two young rookies Mario Chalmers and Michael Beasley really showcased their talents by playing great defense and even better offense. The final score ended at 119-95.
The leading scorer for the Heat was of course Dwyane Wade with 32 points on 10 for 17 shooting. The young stud Mario Chalmers, who was a 2nd round draft pick, 34th overall, put up 15 points, 8 assists and 4 steals. Michael Beasley the 2nd overall pick, looked silky smooth with 18 points on 7 for 12 shooting. The young Miami team has put together some great starting pieces to becoming a dominant Eastern Conference team. All they need is a premier big man and they will be a tough team to beat.

The Miami Heat faced off against the Denver Nuggets in an exhilarating game where the Heat were always playing from behind. Even though they never led in the game, Dwayne Wade kept them in it, but they could not overcome the hurdle, and the Heat went down in defeat to the Nuggets with a final score of 108-97.
Despite Camelo Anthony being sidelined due to a hand injury, the Nuggets proved they could win anyway. Linas Kleiza took his starting role and shot 6 for 13 with 21 points, leading the way for the team. Billups, Martin and Nene were all in double figures for the starters. J.R. Smith who is quickly becoming a shooting machine dropped in 21 points off the bench. Denver now moves to an impressive record of 25 wins and 12 losses.

Dwyane Wade went off for 43 points in the first meeting playing against Shaq since the trade last season. The Phoenix Suns looked completely befuddled without their 2 time Allstar Steve Nash who sat out because of a minor injury. The defense of Phoenix was so lax it was like a pickup game at the local Y with the Miami Heat winning an easy road game with a final score of 107-92.
Wade who is the third leading scorer this year behind Lebron James and Chris Bosh dropped in 43 points on 15 for 24 field goal shooting. Udonis Haslem had 16 points and Daequan Cook had 15 points off the bench. Overall the Heat had 5 players in double figures and had a team shooting percentage of 49%. The Heat now move to 500% with 8 wins and 8 losses.
