Oh Wow Mister Sean Marks

What a stellar game it was between the San Antonio Spurs and the New Orleans Hornets.  It was a back and forth battle throughout the entire night.  It came down to the last few minutes of play where the Hornets held on by a thread and got a victory at home.  Sean Marks the back up defender on Tim Duncan, had some crucial blocks and key rebounds during the game, so kudos to him.  The final score ended at 90-86.

The leading scorers for the Hornets were Chris Paul with 26 points, David West with 23 points and Antonio Daniels with 10 points.  The team shot an incredible 97% from the free throw line making 32 out of 33 shots.  New Orleans has some tough games heading into the home stretch of the season, hopefully they will play well and end up in a better position than number 7, where they are now.

Chicago Sweeps New Orleans

This is one of the best games I seen Chicago play this year.  The Bulls hosted the New Orleans Hornets and they came out on fire, shooting the ball extremely well and playing some lock down D.  Once the Bulls got the lead to double digits they never looked back, fending off the Hornets and their two superstars.  Chicago beat the Hornets both times this year giving them a sweep on the season.  The final score ended at 97-79.

The top three leading scorers for the Bulls were Ben Gordon with 27 points, John Salmons with 24 points and Brad Miller with 15 points off the bench.  The team as a whole shot 47% field goal shooting and committed only 7 turnovers.  The Bulls are 7 games below 500 and need to get a nice winning streak going to have a chance at getting in the Playoffs this year.
