Ejection-Fest At Oracle Arena

The Phoenix Suns, who are in ninth place in the Western Conference, went into Oracle Arena, the home of the Golden State Warriors and put up strong numbers in an offensive clinic.  In a game where no defense was played, the Warriors got beat down bad.  During the second half, Stephen Jackson and Coach Don Nelson both got ejected while arguing with the refs.  The victory was needed for the Suns who have been struggling as of late.  The final score ended at 154-130.

The top three scorers for Phoenix were Jason Richardson with 31 points, Shaquille O’Neal with 26 points and Leandro Barbosa with 21 points off the bench.  The team as a whole shot an outstanding 62% from the field.  The Suns record now improves to 36 wins and 31 losses on the season.

Spurs Deflate The Suns Once Again

In there final meeting on the season, the San Antonio Spurs win again against the visiting Phoenix Suns.  The first quarter was very competitive then in the second quarter the Spurs went on a run leading by 13 points at one time.  The third quarter was dominated by Phoenix going on runs of their own.  In came down to the fourth quarter, where at one time the Suns took the lead by one point, but from then on San Antonio showed their tenacity and true defensive grit by winning down the stretch with the final score ending at 103-98.

The top three scorers for the Spurs were Tony Parker with 30 points, Roger Mason with 18 points and Tim Duncan with 17 points.  The high man off the bench was Ime Udoka who contributed 11 points to the tally.  As a whole, the San Antonio team shot a even 50% committing only 10 turnovers.  The second place Spurs improved their record on the year to 42 wins and 20 losses.

Mo Williams Achieved Career High 44 Points

On Wednesday night the Phoenix Suns came into Lebron’s house of the Cleveland Cavaliers and got beat down.  The game was close only in the first quarter, then the Cavaliers completely dominated the rest of the game and ended up winning by 17 points with a final score of 109-92.  Mo Williams put on a show scoring 44 points on 18 for 26 field goal shooting making it his career high for most points scored in a single game.

Besides Williams offensive attack Lebron James had 26 points, Anderson Varejao had 13 points and Wally Szczerbiak had 11 points.  The team as a whole shot 46% forcing 26 turnovers in a brilliantly played game.  The Cavaliers are in second place in the Eastern Conference and improved their record on the year to 40 wins and 11 losses.
